I work with an incredible group of high school students with moderate to severe disabilities. Each of them brings something unique and beautiful to our classroom—from contagious smiles and creative minds to the determination to learn, even when things feel tough. My students thrive in hands-on, engaging environments, and they light up when given opportunities that support their needs and honor their strengths. With the right tools and environment, they rise to every occasion. Every day, they remind me that growth doesn't always look the same—but it's always worth celebrating.
