Shakespeare is a foundational author in our society. The multitude of references to his work, the timeless themes and messages, the engaging characters all come together and deserve study. Many students have trouble understanding Shakespeare and having access to the No Fear Shakespeare books will help my students gain a modern understanding of timeless works. As we read the original text we can later refer to the No Fear text to deepen our understanding and thinking. These books will be essential to my unit. Perspective and understanding will be developed through our studies.

About my class
