I currently teach a specialized reading program in the biggest elementary school in the district. I work with students in most elementary grades (Kindergarten-Second and Fourth-Fifth) in a small group setting. I work to develop phonemic awareness, increase students reading fluency, comprehension and vocabulary as well as supplement other reading skills they are currently working on in their classroom.
