We are from a small rural school in Maine that includes grades Pre-K though 6th. Many students don't get to go to the ocean or to see sea critters up close and personal. We have a wide range of families from low income to some professionals. However, nearly 50% are considered disadvantaged. Our families and students are very involved within their community. They are very caring and have high hopes for their futures.
