This year I will be working with 8th grade students at a new STEM magnet school. I will be instructing and facilitating their learning of grade-level math standards. Many students, and adults, do not like math and do not believe they will ever use the math they are required to learn. My goal is to make my classroom a place they want to be and a safe place for each student to develop mathematical understandings and make real-world connections.

About my class
