There are 18 students in my class. I have eleven girls and seven boys. I have a combination of regular education, ESE and ESOL students. We have a great class community. They enjoy helping each other. Most of my students don't have updated technology at home. A majority of my students come from a divorced home or a single parent home. Our school is in a suburban area in Florida. Coming to class is a secure and safe place for them. Each morning I can't wait to see the smile on their faces as they enter the room to see what the day brings.
