My students are amazing performers! Everyday they come to Music class with excitement to learn various types of music genres and songs that are relatable to their everyday struggle. They come from a poverty stricken neighborhood where they struggle to find peace and safety on a daily basis. When they are in my class they are given that chance to forget about the outside world they fear and express themselves freely.
