I have a room full of 27 eager 2nd grade students in a rural elementary school in Oregon. Many children do not have the resources at home to learn through reading. The school/classroom experience needs to be a rich environment in order to help nurture these students. We have been using a lot of non-fiction text, and the kids just eat it up! I am in need of more in order to keep their minds moving and their eyes reading!

About my class
