My students live in a high poverty area with almost 100% free breakfast/lunch. We don't have the school funds to supply everything we need for our rooms. This would be something they would really love and use on a daily basis. It would make reading and learning a more interactive experience! My students are very lovable and a bright group. They love sitting on the carpet after lunch when I read one chapter daily of our class book and going to the carpet for reading workshops and other activities. They also love math meeting on the carpet as well. They really love to move around and I feel this would be perfect addition to our classroom in enriching our environment and also allowing them to learn and see a map to really become familiar with the United States of America and know our fifty states!
