I currently have 21 English language learners (ELL's) in my classroom. They are from all parts of south and central America. They came to this country with their parents seeking all the opportunities this country has to offer. We are a Title 1 school which means that 98% of our students are on free or reduced lunch, indicating they are below the poverty line. Most of these children have never really been exposed to technology and have no access to it at home.
