The students I teach are your "typical eighth graders." But with this being said, they also are passionate about whatever they do, including learning. They strive for excellence and aim to please. They look for approval from anyone who will give it to them. They seek the "right" answers and yearn for more. My students come from different backgrounds. They are very diverse from Caucasian to Korean. Many of them live in affluent neighborhoods while a fairly large population come from a more urban setting. They attend a school that is a School of Progress and a North Carolina School to Watch. The class sizes are typically around 30 students or so.
Overall, my students enjoy coming to school. They look forward to my class for a host of different reasons.
