My 30 curious, hardworking, 5th grade scholars have a taste for good literature. We are a community school where everyone is energized by our families and community. But with 95% of our students receiving free or reduced-price lunches, many families are not able to fill their home bookshelves with high-quality reading material. Many of our students struggle with English language acquisition, and English is often not their first, and sometimes not their second, language!
