I will be returning to the classroom after 3 years of being a Reading Recovery teacher for my District. Kindergarten is my first love and I am excited about returning! This year I am teaching Kindergarten in a Title I school. We are considered Title I due to 65%+ of our population participates in the Free/ Reduced School lunch Program. My goal is to create a community in my classroom where all students feel safe, therefore allowing them to take risks they would typically not take. By taking those risks, feeling comfortable and safe, the students should be able to meet District and State benchmarks with my guidance.

About my class
