Daily book clubs with these exciting age appropriate books will have my students completely engaged in discussions and note-taking in their reader's notebooks. With these new books, my students will travel with James in his giant peach, ride along with Ralph on his motorcycle, help Emery find the magic of an old medicine cabinet, find the courage to throw the heat, and unravel the 39 clues. They will learn how to visualize, make connections, delve into characters and their traits, summarize key details, find text evidence, and better comprehend through asking questions before, during, and after reading. Let the reading begin!
