All students deserve a chance to learn about the world! This project will directly impact our students because it will give them an opportunity to learn all about what is going on in the world around them. Scholastic News does such a good job providing current events in kid-friendly language, with great opportunities to learn new vocabulary and explore the world through real-life videos that are part of the magazine subscription. This opportunity is so valuable because Scholastic News literally shows students the world! I also like this particular magazine because there is a "kids opinion" section, showing students that they can have different opinions about various national and international topics. This invaluable resource will help our students become valuable and knowledgeable world citizens who will make a difference in the world.
