The classes involved in the project are a combination of fourth and fifth graders. The students are hardworking, intelligent and come to school to learn. They demonstrate this by taking charge of their learning and showing pride in their work. Our classrooms have a positive learning environment where students feel confident enough to make mistakes by taking on and facing new challenges. They encourage and support one another so all students can achieve success.
The success of our students in the classroom is also credited to our school. It is a small elementary school located in a community in Oregon. The school is lucky enough to be filled with a staff who demonstrates a passion for learning. We work together to provide engaging lessons to our students in the classroom, and a positive safe environment where they can come to school to learn.
