Every year I teach the students how to design these beautiful certificates and we have to print them on plain colored paper because we don't have the resources to purchase enough fancy certificates to use. Each month we have 2 students from each class to be recognized as a Student of the Month, one in Academics and the other in Citizenship. This acknowledgment is done in the evening with the parents in attendance. I would like to be able to use these certificates with a decorative border so the students can begin to keep a portfolio of their accomplishments. This will also serve as a form of record keeping. Many of our students are in foster care and others are moved around between shelters. It will also teach the children to record their own personal history while creating a portfolio that they can continue to use throughout their school years.
We have 25 students in the Tech Club this year and with your help we will be able to expand to 40 students.
