My students are eager, anxious, and they love to learn. Some of them get so interested in a book that I have to remind them to put it up when it is time to begin another activity. Our school is a Title I school, in which a high percentage of students come from low-income families. Despite this, they are working very hard transitioning into the Common Core curriculum.
