Many of my students will make use of iOS apps to accommodate reading difficulties, work on handwriting skills, represent their math thinking, etc. The iPad will allow students to participate with their peers when they are quarantined at home.
Not only can an iPad help my fantastic students, new teachers will benefit as well. This will make it easier to record lessons, analyze student work, and support student learning. The iPad will also be useful to streamline parent meetings by viewing documents in real time and by enabling electronic signing of IEP paperwork.
