Dance is more than extra curricular at our city school. It is part of the offering of fine arts courses students can select as their fine arts requirement for graduation. Students whom wish to peruse a more in depth study of dance can continue past the level one courses and study upper level courses and dance ensembles. The dance classroom is housed in the athletic complex of the school and is becoming a space for a variety of fitness activities, including cheerleading and yoga, both new to the school program for the 2012-2013 school year.
