My special education students are full of hope. However, they attend a Title 1 school (poverty level is at or above 40%), with a limited amount of funding. Due to the children's economic disadvantages, many of them do not have access to technology in their homes, such as a computer. Therefore, their only exposure to technology is for a few periods during the school day. Our school motto is "A Little School with Big Dreams", however it becomes difficult for my students dreams and aspirations to become a reality without the necessary materials.
