The students at my school attend a Title 1 school. However, even though we are Title 1, we are an overachieving Title 1 school. These students come to school every day prepared to learn know what their home life may be like or their learning disability may be. Many of my students do not have books at home, which makes progressing in their reading levels difficult for them. That is why it is important for us to have more books in our classroom.
