Due to the pandemic, many of my students did not attend in-person preschool. Some participated in at home preschool, but not your traditional school setting. With this, some students haven't learned how to sit calmly in the traditional chairs while at school and have lots of wiggles in their seats. As you can imagine, having extra wiggles can be a bit distracting and dangerous in that some students choose to rock back in the traditional chairs which in turn causes them to fall over, even with consistent reminders to keep the chairs flat on the floor. The wobble seats will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to get the wiggles out without the danger of disrupting the students around them or the danger of falling over in the regular classroom chairs.
