Each day my students pick books from our At Home Reading Program Cart to bring home and read with their families. Many families struggle to find just right books for their children. The program helps students to practice their reading at home with books that are at their reading levels.
Right now our books are being stored on an old metal library cart. The cart is not ideal because it is two-sided and due to space issues one side has to go against a wall. Each time students need a book from the backside we have to pull the cart out and turn it around. You can imagine this is hard to do! The tubs on our cart are overflowing and it is hard for my students to browse the books.
I am asking for a new cart that has better organization so that it is easier for my students to pick their books each day.
