I work at a Title I school where most of the students cannot afford basic school supplies. Most of our students come from low economic backgrounds, and we also have many ESOL children in our school. These students do not have a firm foundation of grammar and writing skills. It's as if proper grammar and language is becoming obsolete! I want to help these children become successful writers and encourage the development of good writing patterns. I believe all they need is some guidance and the proper materials and they will be able to accomplish this.
