My students come from very low income, diverse households. Our district is implementing the "bring your own device" program, which many of my students will not be able to participate in because they lack the resources.
My students are eager and willing to learn. My school is Title 1, which means the majority of our students receive free/reduced lunch. Our school is dedicated to enriching these children's lives through positive reinforcement and a love of learning. As a teacher I used my stipend to provide school supplies such as paper, pencils, folders, etc. because my students are not able to purchase these items for themselves.
