By funding this project, my students will reap its benefits daily. The classroom computer, projector, screen, and tables will allow my students to engage in collaborative learning with their peers at their table. Through visual science labs, chapter media presentations, and interactive review games, my students will be exposed to differentiated instruction. The items in this project will allow them to break outside of the norm of strictly single desks, textbooks, and lectures. Then, my students can ascend into a world of hands-on science instruction. As one of my favorite instructors once said, "to know science, one must "do" science". Rural students deserve the same educational experience as those in other urban or suburban school districts. With this donation, you'll enable my students to see the world through a different lens and into the world of science/technology that many might never see otherwise. It is my job to not only teach science content, but also, water the seeds of the dreams for their future. Today, choose to invest in the futures of my students for years to come.
