I teach the most amazing children at a Title One school, in a poverty stricken community, where almost all the students go home to families where English is not their first language. Students come to school depending on free breakfast and lunch to help them make it through the day. Some of the children live in shelters or in homes with multiple families. My students may not be able to experience technology in their homes, so school is the only place where they can use this wonderful tool to enhance their education. Getting a sticker means the world to my students, so having an Apple iPad Mini would be beyond their wildest dreams.
