Reader's Workshop is a framework for reading instruction that provides students with a supportive environment and involves them in authentic reading experiences that focus on the strengths and needs of each individual student. During reader's workshop students are divided into small groups and they rotate between stations focusing on a specific reading skill.
Implementing the reading games will allow students to practice the skills taught in class, in a fun unconventional way. Students will work in small groups to play these games, allows them to work on together as a group, and master the skills they need become effective readers.
