I teach the English side of a First Grade Spanish Dual Immersion program in a low income area of Utah. This project will benefit two very large first grade classes totaling between 56 and 60 students each year. My students have a wide range of reading proficiencies and literacy skills. I work very hard to make sure that each student has the opportunity to learn at their own level during our literacy workshop centers each day.
