My students love to do art each week but we don't have the supplies we need. Purchasing these supplies will allow me to incorporate an art project into our weekly schedule. I will tie our art project to a story we are reading, theme we are studying or a holiday we are celebrating.
These supplies will allow my students to express their creativity. Some students struggle academically but excel in fine arts. I feel it is important to allow students the opportunity to excel both academically and artistically. Art is an important part of kindergarten. It incorporates several skills including fine motor and eye hand coordination.
