My students are a group of children between the ages of 3 and 6 years of age. All of the students exhibit signs of Autism Spectrum Disorders. Currently several of them are non-verbal and rely on either picture cards or their body actions to convey their needs or desires. They are young and energetic children who have come from the world of "home." I am their first exposure to the environment of school and a consistent routine. Our school is an inner city Title 1 school with a high poverty population.
