This careful selection of project components will allow my students the flexibility to fulfill their own vehicle designs with both new and recycled elements. Propellers will be wound with rubber bands, skewers will connect recycled bottle cap wheels, and hot glue will unify the project.
Student-designed vehicles will be used to collect data on velocity and acceleration to be compared and contrasted using digital data analysis tools.
Students will experience first-hand the iterative engineering process of designing a concept, building a prototype, and testing it to find ways to improve the original design.
