My students come from low income families, about half of their homes are English speaking. These students are ready and eager to learn and to be the best they can be, but they haven't had many opportunities in their young lives to reach their full potential. We have been very fortunate enough to receive iPads for the students to use in the classroom. The students are learning to produce, collaborate, find answers to their questions, present, and learn using technology. They are learning how to take the technology they are given and use it as a tool instead of a learning outcome. The students understand that the world is changing and is driven by technology and they are ready to embrace it and learning how to adapt to the change.
