Our school is a PreK - 1st grade school. Nearly all of my students receive free or reduced price lunch. Many of our students face a lot of adversity in their lives but they still come to school each day, ready to work hard! To them, school is a place where they feel safe, loved, and valued. Motivating my students to learn is crucial, particularly with the higher demands of the new Common Core standards.

About my class
