My students attend public school in a small, rural town. Many of my students are from socioeconomic families in the lower income bracket and do not have access to computers, the Internet or other technology at home. My students love inquiry lessons that allow them to explore and complete research on their own. Having an iPad in my classroom will allow more students to complete research and to explore deeper into science concepts.
