I am so elated that you have taken the time to view my page. I am a second year teacher who has a strong drive to make a change in our education system. I am extremely passionate about my students and their growth. I spent my first year teaching an Autism class for H.A.V.E.N. academy. This center served students with severe behaviors and academic difficulties. Each day was a challenge for me, but I refused to give up on my students. I spent over $500 of my own money from my second job to make sure my students received all they needed to be successful. This year I have the great pleasure of founding a Kipp school in atlanta that currently serves k-1. Each year we will grow another grade level, and steer our kippsters in the direction of academic success while instilling positive character traits. I love teaching and I can't imagine myself anywhere else. Although I am only 25 I will spend my life educating our future.
