Reading helps students in a variety of areas: the more they read, the better writers they are, the bigger their vocabulary, and the greater empathy they have for others of different backgrounds. These are all areas that I hope to see my students grow in this year! Reading is so important for students, but everyday distractions are constantly pulling them away! Many students in my class may not choose to spend their time reading, so I want to bring reading to them! Through designated reading times and book talks, I hope our new library will grow a love for literature!

About my class
