Here in Moore, Oklahoma the students at our school have a high poverty and free lunch rate. Most of the families of these children can barely afford to supply their child with the basic school supplies. I can't justify asking them to give money to pay for a magazine, therefore my students have never experienced the joy of smelling the fresh ink on the pages of a new publication that belonged to them.
