My classroom is a vibrant, dynamic space where learning is both purposeful and joyful. Located in a racially and socio-economically diverse school community, it reflects the richness of our students' backgrounds and experiences. As part of the reading department, we focus on supporting students who need targeted help in comprehension, decoding, and language acquisition. Our environment is student-centered and inclusive, where learners feel seen, heard, and supported. The students bring with them a wide array of life experiences that contribute to a socially aware, culturally responsive atmosphere. They are eager to learn, hungry for knowledge, and deeply curious about the world around them. In this exciting and ever-evolving setting, we work together to build strong literacy skills, encourage critical thinking, and cultivate a lifelong love of reading.
