Teaching my class of 14 enthusiastic first graders is a privilege
that I cherish dearly. Even at such a young age my students look to each other to work as a team, while showing an intense desire and eagerness to learn and grow. Being part of a Title I school located in a rural part of North Carolina makes creating opportunities for the students to explore outside of the local community difficult. I believe the integration of technology into the classroom is something that cannot be ignored. Technology is constantly evolving, and as that evolution continues it will allow endless opportunities to expand young children's minds.
