My students come from low income families and often are transient. My students receive breakfast and lunch each day at school. Many don't have daily supplies that they need in order for them to be successful at school each day. Many don't have anything nice to call their own at home and don't take pride in their daily work. I feel it's important to instill in my students a desire to always do their best and take pride in their work. I feel these mailboxes would help with keeping their work neat, organized, and will give students a better chance of putting their homework right into their folder. This past year, I had a student pass out homework at the end of the day. These mailboxes would even minutes to the amount of learning each day that we get in the classroom.
