Our class sits for multiple computer based assessments throughout the school year. Students in middle school grades require hands-on activities and exposure to technology that'll be used to assess mastery of taught skills and concepts. These center activities will allow students to use algebraic thinking and number sense to solve real world problems. Hands on center activities will give our students wider access to materials across all mathematical standards and create greater proficiency using math software.
A goal without a plan is just a wish! Our class goal is to show 1.5 years growth from the beginning of the school year. Our plan is to improve computer proficiency through daily computer based center activities and applying mathematical concepts to real world problems.
