There is a large number of students at my school that receive free or reduced lunch, around 65-70%. The students come from a variety of backgrounds and economic statuses. Some students' parents are lawyers, business owners and doctors, while others live in group homes or with relatives. This variation of home experiences impacts the learning environment, because some students have adequate home resources, but, sadly, some don't. Students want to learn and thrive when the resources are readily available. Please help me give my amazing students every opportunity to be successful in school and in life!
