The items will allow students to have a variety of reading topic choices all of which will help them connect and improve reading fluency and comprehension. The need for reading materials is a vital part of my class room as students are known to do the reading and learn new vocabulary when the work is something they are interested in or that they can actually connect with as they read. Current events and questioning how each of us fit into our culture as well as how we can change what we see happening is how reading can create future dreams.
