For the past nine years Rangeview has become my family. When I get married next March, former students and players of mine will be at my wedding and in some cases even their parents will be. I couldn't count the number of meals, rides, gifts, and more I've shared with them. They are my family.
Rangeview kids represent the diversity of the world and the best of the world. They consider our school their home away from home or in some cases their home. We are an extremely diverse collection of kids. Asian, Black, Hispanic, and White students each represent no more than 35% of our student population, but more than 10%. At least half of our students come from free and reduced priced lunch homes. Their lives, neighborhoods, and education are all challenging, yet these young people are wonderful. They want to be in our classes. They want to be involved in our school. They yearn for relevant opportunities to advance their futures.
