Our objective as educators is that through active, hands on, play and learning our diverse learners will be able to explore and make sense of their world by connecting new ideas and skills to what they already know and can do. We have supplied our students with supplies from our classroom and supplies we have purchased ourselves during our remote learning. We are planning to return back to the classroom and want to be able to have supplies in our classroom to give them the in person learning experience they deserve. Our students will need art supplies, building materials and sensory play to give them a hands on learning experience.
These classroom items will help provide a safe and calm learning environment for my students when we return to in person learning. Students learn best when they feel safe and have the resources available to assist in their individual needs.
