My students will use these materials (clay and tools) to create a variety of clay project in the classroom. We concentrate a lot on hand building, and creating different types of functional objects, and aesthetic sculptural objects. I have a full functioning kiln, that I use and the students are very interested to see how the firing process works. Every day they will come to class asking when their clay projects will be out of the kiln! They love to see the beginning to end process, and are always so proud of what they have created.
