My students are loving and caring, but come from a low socio-economic background. Many of them LOVE learning, even if they are struggling readers and want to feel the joy of success and pride in their work. My school is a great environment where teachers work hard to do their best, but we are lacking materials to help us get there. We do try to raise money but because of the area we are in, it usually doesn't yield very successful results. We will keep trying though so that our students can flourish.
