I am a special education teacher who has been tasked with an important job. This year I am working within four different schools to support intervention and prevention efforts in prekindergarten and kindergarten classrooms to try and reduce the number of students that are referred to special education. Frequently there is an over identification of students in the early grades in our city because they do not enter into school with all the necessary "tools" to be successful. Help support these projects to give these students these tools!
